Tangaroa and the Seal
In Kiribati long long ago before megalodons were extinct Tangaroa gave special power to the seals.Tawhirimatea was jealous so he blew a powerful wind so the power blew out of the seal. The seal was being Tangaroa for his power back. Tangaroa gave the a seal a favour, He said, first I want you to go and get my sceptre. The ball on the end is crystal clear and might be hard to see in the water so if you get the sceptre you can have my ability to perform tricks.
The seal found Tangaroa’s sceptre and brought it back to him.
Tangaroa kept his promise and pushed his power into the seals so that Tawhirimatea couldn't blow it out. The seal was proud that his power was so special. That’s why seals like performing tricks.

The Ocean is Glowing!
Part of our reading learning is to use deep thinking skills to find deeper information. I read an article about how water on the coast of San Diego is glowing. I created a DeBono's thinking hats presentation to share what I learned.
